Hypnotherapy works extremely well for anxiety. Anxiety is fear that manifests in the body as physical sensations. It also manifests in the mind as overactive mental processes. These can range from mild to severe and can even be debilitating.
These physical sensations and mental processes can include:

Hypnosis is extremely effective for anxiety. I understand first hand what you are going through because I have been there myself.
I developed generalized anxiety and had my first panic attack in my early 20’s. I was at a social event at work and suddenly I started to feel completely unreal and spaced out. I felt dizzy, lightheaded and felt like I was going to faint. My chest was pounding so hard that I worried that something was seriously wrong with me. I felt nauseous and kept thinking about how embarrassing it would be to throw up in front of coworkers. Fear was flooding through my veins. I was terrified. It felt like I was going to die. So I told my boss I had a very bad stomachache and I had to go home sick. As soon as I left, all of these feelings immediately went away.
But this kept happening, over and over again. It started happening more frequently. I became more and more afraid to leave my house. It became hard for me to even go to work. For some reason, maybe it was the social aspect of it, but lunchtime was the worst. So I often went home at lunch instead of eating and socializing with coworkers. I would do a lot of sit-ups to try to get rid of the weird feeling in my stomach, but it didn’t help much. I thought I was losing my mind. I was terrified to tell anyone, even my mother, because I thought I would be locked up in an insane asylum! I had no idea what was happening to me, or what to do, so I went to the library, searching for some kind of answer. By pure luck (or divine intervention), I stumbled across a book on anxiety and panic attacks. That is when I first realized what was happening to me. I didn’t know what to do so I flipped through the Yellow Pages and came across a practitioner who specialized in anxiety. I immediately made an appointment.
Many of the techniques he used were hypnosis, although he did not call it that and I wasn’t aware of it until many years later. This completely saved my life and returned me to a normal functioning human being. The feeling of being free of this was incredible. This was my first experience with hypnosis and I will be forever grateful that I walked into this person’s office. Even though I have overcome my anxiety now, and 20 years have passed, I still use many of the techniques he taught me when life gets challenging.
